Henderson 1928 - 1949 The Bonham Daily Favorite Friday, December 6, 1974 pg.8 HENDERSON RITES ARE SET SUNDAY Whitewright - Charley Henderson, 84, died at 12:45 a.m. Friday, December 6, 1974 in the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA Center hospital at Bonham. Funeral services were held Sunday at Earnheart Funeral Chapel with Rev. Houston Garner of Hebron and Rev. Tom Johnson of Bethel, Baptist ministers, officiating. Burial was in Holloway Cemetery. Mr. Henderson was born July [sic} 20, 1890 at Alba and married Hulda Stackhouse at Antlers, Oklahoma in 1919. A memberof the Baptist church, he was a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer. Survivors are 9 sons - Donnie and Tommy Henderson of Whitewright; Burt Henderson of Odessa; Bob and Marion Henderson of Houston; James Henderson of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Billy Henderson of Launsdale, Arkansas, Freddie Henderson of Moore, Oklahoma; and Frankie Henderson of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were J.H. Gosnell, James R. Shelley, Billy W. Marks, Loyd Alexander, Jack England and Ralph Hughes.
