  Verna E. Blythe 1 June 1916 - 5 August 1989 Homer H. Blythe 14 October 1919 - 18 August 1984 Sherman Democrat Sherman - Funeral services for Verna E. Blythe, 73, of sherman, who died at a Sherman hospital were held Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial was in Holloway Cemetery. Mrs. Blythe was born June 1, 1915 in Doniphan, Missouri, daughter of William and Helen Fleming Fawcett. She married Homer Blythe March 30, 1940. The Blythes owned and operated Blythe's Used Cars, Car Auto Company and Recreational Sales. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; son, Stanley of Houston; 2 daughters, Barbara Pearson of College Station and Jerri Ann Bragg of Claremont, Florida; 2 sisters, Vera Autrye of Bakersfield, California and Ina Pritchett of Saledo, California; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
