Graveside services for George R. Haliburton, 62-year-old retired businessman of Sherman, who died Sunday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today at Holloway Cemetery in Luella. Rev. Hugh Davis and Rev. Danny Wood officiated. Services were under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home. Mr. Haliburton was born in Hunt County, the son of C.W. 'Doc' and Cleo Haliburton. He married the former Dovie Nell Reynolds in Bells, December 30, 1951. He was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church and the Order of Oddfellows. He was a Little League coach in Sherman for a number of years and was in the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of the home; sons, Larry Haliburton of Harkell, and Terry Haliburton of Lewisville; his parents of Bells, brother, Morris Haliburton of Bells; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Early Franklin, Bob Stephens, William Blanton, Glenn Parrish, Jim West and Tom Dowell.
