  The Herald Democrat August 15, 2010 SHERMAN - Graveside services for Helen D. "Loisy" Cummings were held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Holloway Cemetery in Luella. Helen passed away Thursday, August 12 at Texas Health Presbyterian - WNJ in Sherman. Pallbearers were Anthony Fielden, Stacy Gabriel, Steven Folsom, Stewart Ackley, Even Lott and Dustin Lott. Waldo Funeral Home was charge of the arrangements. Helen was born August 31, 1956 in Talihina, Oklahom. to Allen Edward and Evelyn Francis (Pierce) Folsom. She was a Choctaw Indian and loved her heritage. Helen attended Southmayd, Denison and Sherman schools. She married Derrell Cummings on November 8, 1979 in Sherman. Crappie fishing, gardening, working with flowers and helping other people was what she loved best. She is survived by her husband Derrell of Southmayd; sons, Tony Hess of Livingston and Tracy Hess of Sherman; stepfather T.B. Holloway of Bailey; brother Allen Folsom of Sherman; sisters, Joann Auldridge of Southmayd and Faye Gabriel of Denison; seven grandchildren, Brenden, Anthony, Noah, Brianna, Noble, Calvin and Timothy; and great-grandchild Kayden Gerry Clay. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, son Rodney Cummings and brother Frankie Peters. Southmayd - Derrell Wayne Cummings, 57 yrs. passed away April 21, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Graveside services were held Sunday 1 p.m. April 24, 2016 at Holloway Cemetery, Chaplin Jerry Wallace officiated. Derrell was born August 2, 1958 to Greta (Rhodes) Moore. He enjoyed spending his time hunting and going fishing. He is survived by his mother of Sherman, 2 brothers, 4 grand children, 2 step sons. Derrell was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Delois (Olsen) Cummings; son Rodney Cummings; and his father Ray Moore.
