She Is Beautiful The Lord gives each of us a family in this natural world through which we are born. He knew before we ever came to be that this would be the daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother that He had for our family. She would birth three beautiful children; miscarrying one into the arms of our Lord. Our loss is Heaven's gain. She stands with loved ones in eternity, awaiting our arrival. She holds for the first time the child she and my granddad lost. As King David said after losing his son, "He cannot come to me, but I will one day go to him." She is free now… laughing, running, sharing the events of her life with those who preceded her. She has joined the great cloud of witnesses. Her strength, humor, wit and love for people and babies was awe inspiring. She gave all she had to all who had a need, and those who didn't. She knew hard times and good ones, but she knew love. She is love! She is the Proverbs 31 woman. A woman of great strength, she waited until my granddad came to her side before she departed this world. He took her hand. He kissed her. He told her he loved her and then she peacefully went home. That is love. She had one last goodbye to tell her husband, our daddy, and our papaw - the love of her life - she was going home. We love you and will miss you greatly. You cannot come to us, but we will one day soon come to you in the presence of our Lord for eternity! Then we will look upon one more baby; and see the joy that children always gave you in your eyes. From each of us, we give you kisses and our love.
