  Faye Gabriel, a caring friend, mother, grandmother, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 in Durant, Oklahoma at age 67. Faye was born November 6, 1954 and was a former resident of Sherman, Texas where she spent most of her life. Most people who knew her, knew that she was a very outspoken and stubborn woman but a very loving and kindhearted one as well. She had her love for flowers and gardening and shopping with her granddaughter, Brinlee. She loved sitting on her back porch watching her hummingbirds and watching the sun set at the end of the day. Her spirit will not be forgotten, and her strength and courage will continue to live on through our hearts. Faye is survived by 2 sons, Steven Folsom and Stacy Gabriel; sister, Joann Aldridge; nieces and nephews; her 5 grandchildren and newest great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman Thursday afternoon, May 6, 2021; burial followed at Holloway Cemetery.
