Dallas Morning News Tuesday, January 16, 1940 WOMAN, 94, LEAVED 69 DESCENDANTS Special to The News Sherman, Texas, Jan. 15 - Mrs. E.A. Aavage, 94, a resident of Grayson County 56 years, died Monday at the home of her son, E.T., Savage, Route 4, where she had resided 14 years. Funeral services were conducted at the son's residence Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in the Holloway Cemetery, south of Luella. Mrs. Savage was born September 23, 1845 in Kentucky. Her husband, a veteran of the Civil War, died in 1894. She was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Surviving are 2 sons, M.L. and E.T. Savage of Sherman; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Mallory of Ada, Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
