   Harold G. Austin 4 April 1920 - 28 December 1994 PFC US Army WWII Sherman Democrat Friday, December 30, 1994 Gunter - Harold Gene Austin, 74- year-old electrician of Gunter, died Wednesday in a Sherman Nursing Center. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Holloway Cemetery. Rev. Bob Layman officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Mr. Austin was born in Van Alstyne, son of Royce Austin and Gladys Blythe Austin. and was a member of of the Belmont Church in Sherman. He was a World War II veteran. Surviving are his son, Wayne Austin of Round Rock; brother, Ted Austin of Howe; and one grandchild.
