services for Walter M. "Butch" Burroughs, 63, of Bells, Texas were held
Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Holloway Cemetery in Luella, Texas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in
Sherman. He passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Hinton Home in Farmersville, Texas. Butch was born in Sherman, son of WIley M. Burroughs and Geneva Davis Burroughs. He worked for ConAgra for 23 years before retirement. Butch married Sandra Campbell on Feburary 10, 1999 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bells. Butch is survived by his wife of Bells, Texas; daughter, Angela Burroughs of Sherman; step-daughter, Lisa Reese of Sherman; step-son, Dominic Dias of Bells; step-daughter, Ashley Shearer of Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Burrouss, Andrew Smith, Katy Smith, Mattie Shearer, and Lennon Shearer; one brother, Buddy Burroughs and wife, Delene, of Sherman; sister, Betty Day of Sherman; niece, Tina Yant of Tioga; 2 great-nephews; and many friends.
