"Odus" Feagan 1890 - 1983 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, December 12, 1957 pg. 1 Sherman Democrat Sunday, December 8, 1957 Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Tom Bean Church of Christ for Mrs. D.O. Feagin, 66, of Tom Bean who died in a Sherman hospital at 5:15 a.m. Saturday following a heart attack several hours earlier; Connie Hollis, minister of the Leonard, Texas Church of Christ conducted the services. Burial followed in Holloway Cemetery, directed by Waldo Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Claude Lackey, Morris Pennell, Spurgeon Teague, Wyatt Griffin, Carlyle Bell, and Lewis Nash.. Mrs. Feagan was born in Grayson County, a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Walter and Susan Davis. She was married November 17, 1915 to D.O. Feagan. She attended Cordell College, Cordell, Oklahoma in 1913 and 1914. Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, Lester Howard Feagan and William Daniel Feagan of Tom Bean; 3 sisters, Mrs. Grantland Ball and Mrs. Ernest Gann of Tom Bean; and Mrs. Earl Hill of Sherman; a brother, Russell Davis of Tom Bean; 2 half-sisters, Mrs. Cleo E. Jones of Snyder, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Cecil Field of Morenci, Arizona; a half-brother, Hebron Davis of Sherman; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Sherman Democrat Sunday, October 30, 1983 Tom Bean - Funeral services for D.O. Feagan, 93, who died Friday in a Whitewright nursing home were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Church of Christ of Tom Bean. Burial was in Holloway Cemetery under the direction of Earnhart Funeral Home. Feagan was born in Pilot Grove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Feagan and married Winnie Davis, November 17, 1915 in Grayson County. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Whitewright and of the Tom Bean Church of Christ. He is survived by 2 sons, Howard and Dan of Tom Bean; a sister, Zora Bullard of Savoy; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
