The Bonham Daily Favorite Wednesday, June 19, 1974 pg. 8 Ambrose - Mrs. Tom Cobble, 74, died at noon Tuesday, June 18, 1974, in a Denison hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Houston Garner, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery. Mrs. Cobble was born January 1, 1900 in Grayson county, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Hughes. She married Tom Cobble in the Anthony community October 21, 1917. She was a member of the Ambrose Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband of the home, Bells, Rt. 1; three sons, Grady Cobble of Denison, Thomas Cobble of Bells, Rt. 1, and Larry Cobble of Lawton, Oklahoma; five daughters, Mrs. Juanita Cato of Freeport, Mrs. Lena Fay Powell of Waynesborough, Virginia, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Denison and Mrs. Betty Morrow and Mrs. Martha Mitchusson of Bells, Rt. 1; two stepsisters, Mrs. Bertha Essary and Mrs. Ada Hanks, both of Bells, Rt. 1; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Eugene Sanford, Billy Mack Clark, Donny Powell, Grady Cobble, Jr., Kenneth James and Gene Freeman.
