Turner, Sr., 69, died in a Denison hopsital Wednsday, March 31, 1971. Funeral services were held at the Hebron Baptist Church Firday with Rev. Houston Garner officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery with Earnheart directing. Mrs. Turner was born June 18, 1901 at Honey Grove and married Mr. Turner at Hawthorne, California, June 5, 1924. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, a graduate of Denison High School, B.O. Stamps School of Music and Vaughn's School of Voice. Survivors are he husband of the home; 3 sons, Guy E. Turner, Jr. and Tommy Ray Turner, both of Bells; and Marvin L. Turner of Whitewright; 3 daughters, Mrs. Doris Norris and Mrs. Louise Kane, both of Irving; and Mrs. Geraldine Redling of California; a brother, Bury Connely of Longland, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. R.C. Marlowe of Denton; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Active pallbearers were Robert Robertson, Frank Humphries, Richard Beall, Lee Hanna, Paul Smith and Norman Arnold.
