  Joyce Springs 1954 - 2010 Joyce
Gale Springs, age 55, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 25,
2010 at Texoma Medical Center. Mrs. Springs was born June 16, 1954 in
Terrell, Texas the daughter of James and Evelyn (Latham) Johnson. Joyce
married the love of her life Jerry Springs June 1, 1976 in Sherman,
Texas. She was a nurse at Texoma Medical Center and Medical Plaza
before retiring. Joyce was an avid bingo player and a member of the VFW
Post 2773 ladies auxiliary. She was of the Baptist faith and a member
of Hebron Baptist Church of Bells. Joyce was a loving wife, mother,
sister and a wonderful and caring daughter to her mother. But her
grandchildren Hayden and Hannah were the light of her life. She was a
very devoted and loving grandmother.
Joyce is survived by her loving family, her husband, Jerry Springs of Denison, TX daughter, Amy Neal and husband, Robert of Colbert, OK; grandchildren, Hayden Neal and Hannah Neal, mother, Evelyn Johnson of Denison, TX brothers, Jerry Johnson and wife, Cindy of Bells, TX and James Johnson Jr. and wife, Jeannie of Pottsboro, TX; two nieces and seven nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James T. Johnson, sister, Carolyn Redding, brother, Ronald Johnson and two nephews, Steven Redding and Jerry Don Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Houston Garner officiating. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Bells. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brad Johnson, Kenny Johnson, Cody Johnson, John Johnson, Jim Acton, David Whitley, Daniel Whitley and Hayden Neal.
