Joyce L. Mohling 25 November 1930 - 3 July 2018 Melvin A. Mohling 13 October 1924 - 18 June 2008 wed 14 February 1946 Children: Jimmy, Donald, Rebecca & Chanda Joyce Lovella Mohling, 87, of Bells, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2018. She was born November 25, 1930, daughter of Lambert Smith and Zelma Louise Huckleberry Smith in Tahoka, Texas. Joyce married Melvin August Mohling on February 14, 1946 in Matador, Texas. Joyce was a housewife, working to raise her children. Later she worked for Levi Strauss and then Texas Instruments for 10 years. Joyce became a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Bells in 1971 and served 47 years. When she became a member, she joined the ladies' Bible class, and soon became a teacher. Joyce coordinated meals for funerals and other occasions for over 20 years. She had a servant's heart and was the Hebron flower girl, makind sure flowers were sent from Hebron for all occasions. Joyce was also a member of the Red Hat Club. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Denise Garza of Sherman; Chanda Chrsitine Gomez of Alabama; granddaughters, Valorie Meyer of Lake Whitney, Texas; Angela Marie McNeil of Denison; Danielle Rae Mohling of San Francisco, California; and Michaela Compton of Houston; grandson, Jimmy Don Mohling of Lubbock, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Melton Smith and wife, Shila, of Houston; sister, Barbara Walker and husband, Doyle, of Lampasas, Texas; many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sons, James Melton Mohling and Donald Gene Mohling. Funeral services were held at Mullican-Little Chapel; burial followed in Hebron Cemetery, Bells, Texas. Donald Gene Mohling 3 August 1951 - 27 June 2004
