  Ronnie Paul Barcheers 26 February 1951 - 19 April 2018 wed 16 November 1984  Sherman - Funeral services for Ronnie Paul “Cowboy” Barcheers were held Monday afternoon, April 23 at the Hebron Baptist Church. Brother Russell Clemons officiated, and burial followed in the Hebron Cemetery. Ronnie was born February 26, 1951 in Ralls, Texas, son of Jim and Lois Green Barcheers. He married Linda Russell on November 16, 1984 in Van Alstyne. Ronnie worked for the Highway Department for over 30 years and always took great pride in his work. In his free time, he enjoyed tractors, guitars, gospel music, horses, and spending time gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was a longtime member of the Hebron Baptist Church. Mr. Barcheers will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda of Sherman; two sons, Ronald Price and wife, Michelle, of Colorado Springs; and Travis J. Barcheers and wife, Alexis, of Yuba, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Jimmy Barcheers and wife, Ardelia, of Thackerville, Oklahoma; Billy Barcheers and wife, Ruby, of Tom Bean; and Gary Barcheers and wife, Pam, of Tom Bean; two sisters, Eva Neil and husband, Jr., of Van Alstyne; and Sharon Blunt and husband, Doc, of Plano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
