Jerry Dale Johnson went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 14, 2022.  Jerry was born in Terrell, Texas on June 16, 1954, son of James T. and Evelyn Johnson.  Jerry married the love of his life, Cynthia "Cindy" Coffman on August 3, 1973.
Jerry was a Baptist and a preacher of the gospel at Beacon Hill Nursing Home for many years. He was also a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Jerry leaves behind his wife of Bells, Texas; son, Bradley Johnson and wife, Michelle, of Bells, Texas; son, Ronald Johnson of Bells, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Addson Mutcher. Waylon Mutcher, Kaylee Johnson, and Dakota Johnson.  He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins,,extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Don Johnson; parents; sisters, Joyce Springs and Carolyn Redding; brothers, James Johnson, and Ronald Lynn Johnson; nephews, Steven Redding; grandparents, Joe and Libby Latham and Henery Johnson; in-laws, Billy Jack and Betty Coffman; and sister-in-law, Paula Tamburin.
Funeral service for Jerry was held Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2002 at Hebron Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Clemmons officiating.  Interment followed in Hebron Cemetery in Bells. Pallbearers were David Whitley, Daniel Whitely, Wayne Ryon, Robert Neal, Hayden Neal, Jamie Johnson, Cody Johnson and Kenny Johnson.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
