Hanna 1922 - 1986 The Bonham Daily Favorite Monday, February 15, 1965 pg. 5 BELLS - Mrs. Ruthie Hanna, 75, died in a Sherman hospital at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 1965. She had been in ill health for some time. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Earnheart chapel in Whitewright with Rev. Emmet Green, Jr. and Rev. Houston Garner, Baptist ministers, officiating. Interment was in Hebron Cemetery. Mrs. Hanna was born April 1, 1889, in Collin county, Texas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Stapp. She married William B. Hanna, March 30, 1906, at Valdesta. He preceded her in death some years ago. She was a member of the Emmanuel Temple Pentacostal church. Survivors are 3 sons, Frank Hanna, Lee Hanna and J.B. Hanna, all of Bells; 3 daughters, Mrs. Goldie Humphries and Mrs. Velma Freeman, both of Bells; and Mrs. Ethel Rowe of Dallas; a brother, Tommy Stapp of Denison; a sister, Mrs. Leona Auldridge of Bells; 10 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
