    Dianna K. Godbey 17 May 1948 - 15 December 2005 James N. Godbey 5 March 1944 - 4 August 2018   James "Johnny" Neal Godbey, 74, entered into his eternal life August 4, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center. Johnny was born March 5, 1944 in Denison, son of James Miles and Iva Pearl Stapp Godbey. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an excellent mechanic and carpenter. Johnny was a member of Liveoak Pentecostal Church in Durant, he loved and faithfully served the Lord for the last 15 years. Johnny is survived by his wife, Callan Godbey of Durant, Oklahoma; sons, Robert "Bobby" Godbey and wife, Nancy, of Denison; James "Jimmy" Godbey and wife, Jennifer, of Denison; grandchildren, Miles Godbey, Makayla Godbey, Colby Ball, Kerra Ball, Colton Ball, Jacob Godbey, Jolie Godbey; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Kay Caraway Godbey; parents; brothers, Jerry Lewis Godbey, David Ray Godbey Sr., and Tommy Godbey; sisters, Frankie Pruitt, Barbara Higgins, Vera Farris and Pam Belgard. Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 8 at Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Lawrence Buller officiating.
