Sherman Daily Democrat Tuesday, April 11, 1922 pg. 2 FUNERAL FOR W. LEE ABERNATHY TUESDAY W. Lee Abernathy, 32 years of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Abernathy, died at the family home at 419 South Montgomery Street, Monday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock following an illness of several months' duration. Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday from the family home after which the remains were conveyed to Hebron cemetery, where interment was made Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. C.A. Smith. Besides his parents, the deceased is survived by his sisters, Miss Pearl Abernathy, Miss Lena Abernathy, and Miss Theodosia Abernathy of Sherman, and Mrs. Bertha Dickerson of Bells; and brothers, Hubert and Milton Abernathy of Sherman.
