Sunday, March 31, 1985 RUPERT C. RUFFIN Services for Rupert Claudean Ruffin of 904 S. Lee, 61 year old employee of Sun Food who died Thursday, March 28, 1985 in Memphis, Arkansas, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Waldo Funeral Chapel. Rev. A. W. Blaine minister of Collinsville, will officiate, and burial will be in Hall Cemetery west of Howe. Mr. Ruffin was born in Farmington, the son of Rupert Avert and Minnie Barron Ruffin, and married Maurine Childs on October 25, 1978 in Durant, Oklahoma. He attended Sherman schools and served in the U. S. Navy from 1941 until 1950. He had been in the produce business most of his life, having worked in California and Dallas. He was a member of Veteran of Foregin Wars, American Legion, Elks Lodge and North Park Baptist Church. Suviving are his wife; sons, Robert Ruffin of Santa Anna, California and David Nelson of Carson City, Nevada; daughters, Donna Jenson of Newbury Park, California; Denise Ruffin of Dallas and Wanda Perkins of Anaheim, California; sister, Kathleen Dedrick of Sherman and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bob King, Jack McKinney, Tony Williams, James Greenway, Lee Abbe and Charles Dowling. The family will be at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday and other times at the Kathleen Dederick residence, 917 N. Maxey.
