MRS. R. A. RUFFIN DIES IN HER HOME IN SHERMAN

Mrs. R. A. Ruffin, 59, native of Grayson County, died Monday, April 18, 1955, at 2 p.m. in her home, 917 N. Maxey, after a
two year illness.
Funeral arrangements, in charge of Waldo Funeral Home, were incomplete Monday noon. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery near Howe.
Mrs. Ruffin was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Barron, and was the former Minnie Barron. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Claude Ruffin of Vallejo, California; a daughter, Mrs. M. A. Dedrick of Sherman; three brothers, Macie, Avery and Henry all of Sherman; a sister, Mrs. Nora Gurley of Pilot Point; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

FINAL RITES SUNDAY FOR R. A. RUFFIN, 76

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Waldo Funeral Chapel here for R. A. Ruffin, 76, of 917 N. Maxey, who died at 10 a.m. Thursday, 5 November, 1964, while in route to a Sherman hospital.
Rev. A. W. Blaine, pastor of North Park Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery, near Howe.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Born in Alma, March 5, 1888, Mr. Ruffin had lived here for 41 years. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Ruffin. In 1956, he retired after 28 years with Hardwicke-Etter Company where he was a building custodian. His wife, the former Minnie Barron, died in 1955. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, Claude Ruffin of Valley Jo, California; a daughter, Mrs. M. A. Dedrick of Sherman; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several neices and nephews.
