January 20, 2011 HOWE - Graveside services for Dustn Clay Lovelady, 29-year-old Howe resident, were held Saturday afternoon at Hall Cemetery with David Kautt officiating. He died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in Sherman. Surviving are his parents, Rodger and Margie Lovelady of Howe; brother, Michael Evans of Frisco; and sister, Christy Mosier of Howe. Roger Clay Lovelady, 73, passed away on February 27, 2002 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne, Texas. He was born December 30, 1948 in Waco, Texas, son of Elmer and Margaret Lovelady. Rodger graduated from McKinney High School in 1967. Following graduation, he attended East Texas State University for 1 years. Then he enlisted in the United States Navy an served 2 tours during the Vietnam War. Rodger married Margie Coker Evans on January 17, 1979, and recently celebrated 43 years of marriage. In addition to his parents, Elmer and Margaret Lovelady, Rodger was predeceased by his son, Dustn Lovelady. Surviving in addition to his wife is his stepson, Michael Evans and wife, Gloria; and step-granddaughter, Christy Mosier and husband, Michael; 4 grandchildren: Alisha Evans; Darin Evans and wife, Ella; Bryce Mosier; and Maidson Mosier; 3 great-grandchildren: Jayden Birt, Jazmin Birt, and Clay Evans; one sister, Patricia Parker and husband, Alan; nieces and nephews: Tena and Patrick Pendergast and son, Nicholas; Jeff and Colleeen Robbins and daughter, Kaci. Graveside services were officiated by David Kautt Friday morning, March 4, 2022 at Hall Cemetery in Howe, Texas.
