Howe - Funeral services for Maureen Troxtell, 85, of Howe, who died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998 in Wilson N. Jones hospital, were held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998 at Grayson Bible Church in Sherman. The Rev. Eddy Johnson officiated. Interment
was in Hall Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home in Howe.

Mrs. Troxtell was born April 1, 1913 in Tom Bean, the daughter of Thomas J. and Annie Davis Decker. She married Ottav Troxtell on October 1, 1938; he preceded her in death on May 5, 1972. A son, O. V. Troxtell, also preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of Grayson Bible Church in Sherman.
Survivors include three daughters: Joreen Spoon of Sherman; Helen and husband Harold Page of Sherman; Linda and her husband Alvis Martin of Sherman; six grandchildren: Kenneth Manor, Randy Page, Misty Martin, A. J. Martin, Chad Troxtell and Christy Croft; four great-grandchildren: Kenneth Shaw, Courtney, Laura and Ashley Croft.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Manor, A. J. Martin, Randy Paige, Keith Knottingham, Ed Mahan and Jason Michael.

HOWE - Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Howe Baptist Church for Mr. Ottav R. Troxtell, 59, a farmer, who died at 5 p.m. Friday at a Sherman hospital. His home was 312 S. Denny, Howe.
Rev. Johnny Johnson, Rev. Roy Cloudt and Rev. Sam Randolph conducted the services. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery under the direction of the Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne.
Mr. Troxtell was born November 30, 1913, in Texas. He had been a farmer his entire life.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maurine Troxtell of Howe; three daughters, Mrs. Joreen Spoon of Sherman, Miss Helen Troxtell and Miss Linda Troxtell, both of Howe; a son, O.V. Troxtell of Howe; four sisters, Mrs. Maudie Wortman of Cleburne, Mrs. Nettie Ketner of Sherman, Mrs. Betty Nichols of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mrs. Loretta Glover of Garland; six brothers, Freddie Troxtell, Cecil Troxtell and Billy Troxtell, all of Sherman, Clessie Troxtell of Howe, Roscoe Troxtell of Tome Bean and Paul Troxtell of Post; and one grandchild.

HOWE - Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flesher Funeral Chapel in Howe for 50-year-old Howe resident Ottav Troxtell who died Saturday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital.  Rev. Tommy Stone will officiate. Burial was at Hall Cemetery.
Mr. Troxtell was born in Howe, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ottav R. Troxtell.
He was a farmer and a member of Elmont Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Chad Troxtell of Howe; mother, Mrs. Maureen Troxtell of Howe; sisters, Joreen Spoon of Sherman, Helen Page of Whitewright and Linda Martin of Sherman.
Pallbearers were Wayne Cavender, Bobby Sollis, John Chumbley, James Vineyard, Robert Helms, Jimmy Don McMillan.
