  Homer W. Todd 1920 - 2005 Opal L. Todd 1917 - 2014  Howe, Texas -- Opal Todd was born October 10, 1917 in Tioga, Texas, the daughter of Rufus and Susie Hestand. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Todd; her sister, Imogene Wallace; and brothers, Raymond, Earl and Clifford Hestand. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Housewright; two grandsons, Terry Housewright and his wife Joanna of Frisco, Texas and Keith Housewright and his wife Jill of Howe, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Trenton Housewright; and 3 step grandchildren, Courtney Orloff of Coppell, Texas, Ashton and Nicholas Hayes of Howe. Graveside services were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Hall Cemetery in Howe, Texas with Rev. Gary Gibbs officiating. Pallbearers were Ray Bledsoe, Billy Wheeler, Sam Haigis, Buddy Baker, Norman Dickey and Jim Hammer. A special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice and the wonderful staff at Texoma Healthcare who took care of her. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas.
