services for Lena Odessa Gee, age 94 of Howe, Texas were held at
3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Hall Cemetery in Howe. Rev. Gary
Gibbs officiated. Lena passed away, Wednesday,
November 13 in Frisco.
She was born February 15, 1919 in Marietta, Georgia to Thomas and Lenora Smith Beavers. She married Hugh Gee July 9, 1938 in Sherman, Texas. Lena was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a home maker. She is survived by her son and his wife; Dennis and Kathy Gee, daughter and her husband, Deborah and Michael Snetzer of Frisco; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Odyssey Hospice Foundation, 2817 Mayhill Rd. Denton, Texas 76208. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home, 637 W. Van Alstyne Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas.
