Thursday, January 25, 1973 pg. 5 Services for Lloyd Alvin Walker, 82, retired groceryman and farmer who died Monday at his Farmington home, were held Thursday at the First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. R.E. Corzine and Rev. Sam Randolph. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne. Mr. Walker was born in Missouri, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Walker. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Van Alstyne Post American Legion. Surviving are a son, Lloyd Walker of Denison; a daughter, Miss Josephine Walker of Gunter; a sister, Mrs. Grace Crandall of Kansas City, Kansas; brothers, Vinton Walker of Oakview, California and Verne Walker of Yucaipa, California; and 3 grandchildren. Pallbearers were W.L. Hestand, Dan Ford, Charlie Hubbard, Stephen Hubbarn, Mike Hubbard and Edwin Hestand.
