Thursday, November 1, 1973 pg. 5 RITES HELD FOR DELL E. MODE Services were held Tuesday at the first Baptist Church for Dell Ernest Mode, 71, who died Sunday at a Sherman hospital. Rev. Sam Randolph conducted the service. Burial was in Hall Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Mr. Mode was former secretary-treasurer for the city of Howe. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bertha Mode; sisters, Mrs. Zella Jackson of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Jo Jeanelle Hoskins of Arlington; brothers, Raymond Mode of Pottsboro; Arlie Mode of Howe; and James Linden Mode of Houston; and step-mother, Mrs. Thelma Mode of Howe.
