  Oather Dick Gibson 26 January 1930 - 5 January 2011 Herald Democrat January 7, 2011 GUNTER - Graveside services for Oather Dick Gibson, 74-year-old Gunter resident, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Hall Cemetery with Mark Mitchell officiating. Mr. Gibson died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Sherman. Survivng is his wife, Doris Gibson of Gunter; daughter Amy Gibson of Sherman; brother, Charles Gibson of Sherman; sister, Mary Gaskins of Whitesboro; and two grandchildren. Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne was in charge of arrangements.  Howe, Texas - Doris Ann Gibson left the morning of Thursday, May 30, 2019. Doris was born February 8, 1940 in Whitewright, Texas to Orville "Buck" and Lelia Head. Doris is survived by her daughter, Amy Gibson of Sherman; brother, Jack Hicks of Sherman; granddaughter, Heather Todd of Bells; grandson, Tyler Gibson of Anna; and many great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Sue Faulkner; and brother, Orville Head. Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, June 3, 2019 in Hall Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home.
Herald Democrat June 6, 2012 Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Hall Cemetery in Howe for Destiny Elizabeth and Alice Taylor Gibson, infant twins. Parents are Tyler and Josephine Gibson of Sherman; brother, Matthew Parker; and sister Ivory Gibson; maternal grandmother, Mary Shelby; grandfather, Roger Whisenant; paternal grandmother, Amy Gibson; paternal great-grandmother, Doris Gibson; and aunt, Heather Gibson.
