 
 Herald Democrat January 25, 2013 VAN ALSTYNE - Funeral services for Jacob Dale Hawkins, 35, of Van Alstyne, Texas, were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Howe, Texas. Burial followed at the Hall Cemetery in Howe. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. He passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Jacob was born in Tampa, Fla. on November 2, 1977 to James Dale Hawkins and Tina Marie Stambaugh Hawkins. Jacob is survived by his mother and step father, Tina and Bob Cox of Mesquite, Texas; father, James Hawkins of Denison, Texas; two brothers, James Lucas Hawkins and family of Whitewright, Texas; Micah Ross Hawkins of Mesquite; grandparents, Bill and Barbara Stambaugh of Howe; and Jimmy and Tommie Hawkins of Denison; aunts, Raylyne Claunch and husband Robert of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Beth Waller and Judy Hawkins both of Sherman. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family and friends. Jacob was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Ray Hawkins; great-grandparents and cousin, Bradley Mayo. Pallbearers will be Micah Hawkins, Lucas Hawkins, Patrick Stambaugh, Morgan Stambaugh, Aaron Fikes, James Garcia, Hank Skaggs and Toby Rushing. Roger Tidwell officiateed. Burial followed at the Hall Cemetery in Howe. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Micah passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his parent's home in Mesquite. Micah was born on January 25, 1986 in Dallas to James Dale Hawkins and Tina Marie Stambaugh Hawkins. Micah is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tina M. and Robert E. Cox of Mesquite; father, James Hawkins of Denison; brother and sister-in-law, Lucas and Melissa Hawkins and family of Howe; grandparents, Bill and Barbara Stambaugh of Howe and Jimmy and Tommie Hawkins of Denison; aunts, Raylyne Claunch and Beth Waller of Howe, and Judy Hawkins of Sherman. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other family and friends. Micah was preceded in death by his brothers, Joshua Ray Hawkins and Jacob Dale Hawkins; great-grandparents; and cousin, Bradley Mayo.
