December 30, 1993 A6 HOWE - Services for Johnnie Thompson of Howe, 87-year-old retired farmer who died Friday in Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Howe Church of Christ. Andy Kizer officiated and burial was in Hall Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home in Howe. Mr. Thompson was born in Waxahachie, the son of C. W. Thompson and Glennie Sealey Thompson and married Estelle Haizlp on December 5, 1926. He was a member of the Howe Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Pat Anderson of Anna and Peggy Bell of Abilene; sons, Charles Thompson of Irving, Jack Thompson of Amarillo and Bob Thompson of Beaumont; brothers, Lowell Thompson, Charles Thompson and Carl Thompson, all of Howe; and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sherman Democrat January 9, 1994 A10 HOWE - Services for Estelle Thompson, 89-year-old Howe homemaker, were held Saturday in the Howe Church of Christ. Mrs. Thompson was born in Celtic, the daughter of Vincent Haizlip and Sudie Rankin Haizlip. She married Johnnie Thompson December 5, 1926 in Howe. He died December 29, 1993. She was a member of the Howe Church of Christ. Surviving are her daughters, Pat Anderson of Anna and Peggy Bell of Abilene; sons, Charles Thompson of Irving, Jack Thompson of Amarillo and Bob Thompson of Beaumont; sisters, Gem Haizlip, Margie Newman and Maxine Hartwig, all of Sherman, Aline Stout of Plano and Mary Lahaie of Henderson; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
