POTTSBORO - Robert Eugene Billy, 60, entered into eternal life Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home in Pottsboro.
Mr. Billy was born September 29, 1953 in Sherman, the son of Ellis "Jelly" and Josephine "Jo" (Trammell) Billy. Mr. Billy retired from Oscar Mayer in Sherman, and he continued working for the City of Sherman Water Department for almost 15 years.
He was an avid fisherman, loved to cook and loved his pups. Robert also raced cars and enjoyed watching others race as well. He will be deeply missed.
Mr. Billy is survived by his beloved family; son, Brad Billy and wife Tammie of Sherman; daughter, Laci Billy of Sherman; two grandchildren, Landrie and Brody Billy; mother, Josephine "Jo" Billy; brothers, Jimmy Don Billy of Cedar Park, Chester Billy of Southmayd, and Shane Billy of Denison.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Mikey Billy.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Private interment was held at Hall Cemetery.
