Thursday, July 24, 1969 pg. 1 ALGIE DOUGLAS JR. IS DROWNING VICTIM Algie Edwin Douglas, Jr., 22, drowned late Monday afternoon in a stock tank near Farmington. Mr. Douglas had gone to the Farmington area around 4 p.m. on a hunting trip, and, when he failed to return, relatives began a search of the area. His body was discovered about 10 p.m. in the stock tank. Funeral services are pending, awaiting arrival of a brother in service, stationed in Germany. Mr. Douglas worked with electronics and was a member of the Elmont Baptist Church. Services, when set, will be at the Elmont Baptist Church, and conducted by Rev. Ralph White. Flesher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Alma Boughner, Dorchester; four brothers, Sgt. Carl Douglas, Germany; Orvil Douglas, Wichita Falls; Tommy and Stephen Douglas, both of Dallas; and Vickie Douglas, Dorchester; his grandmother, Mrs. S.Y. Sanchez, Sherman; and his grandfather, G.O.
