Watson 1914 - 2001 wed 16 April 1938  Whitney, Texas - Graveside funeral services for James Owen Watson were held Saturday afternoon, May 21, 2022 at Hall Cemetery with Harold FInney officiating. Mr. Watson, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Whitney, Texas. Jimmy was born September 6, 1950 in Sherman, Texas, son of Owen and Mammie Hedrick Watson. He worked as a welder and enjoyed spending time on the lake. Mr. Watson is survived by his son, Shane Watson and wife, Ashley; 4 grandchildren: Kaylee Phillips, Hanna Abel; Ian Watson and Kole Watson; one sister, Shirley Vickers; and nieces and nephews.
