  Van Alstyne - Funeral services for Brock Leon Martin were held Saturday morning, October9, 201 at Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman with Mitch Wiggins officiating. Burial followed at Hall Cemetery in Howe, Texas with Jade Anderson, Jared Ramsey, Grant Bingham, Freddy Ramsey, Eddy Martin and Brent Weilbacher serving as pallbearers. Brock passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Medical Center, McKinney, Texas. Brock was born August 15, 2012 in Sherman. He was a 4th grade student in Van Alstyne. Brock was an avid fisherman and aspired to fish professionally. He will be remembered as a polite boy who was always smiling and laughing, never in a bad mood, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He ws a member of Western Heights Church of Christ. Brock is survived by his parents, Rhonda and Edward Martin of Van Alstyne; grandparens, Ronnie and Millie Davis of Sadler; Della Skerkis of Van Alstyne and Beverly Martin of Van Alstyne; 7 siblings: Brandi Weilbacher and husband, Brent, of Plano; Brook Bingham and husband, Grant, of Pottsboro; Eddy Martin and fiance Tonya Ridgeway, of Plano; Leonard Rodgers, Victor Rodgers and wife, Charli; Brady Martin, and Brennan Martin, all of Van Alstyne; cousin, Leasa Ramsey and husband, Freddy, of Van Alstyne; uncle, Jay Martin and wife, Lezlie, of Kansas; and numerous other family members.
