VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Theo Wright of Van Alstyne, 77-year-old retired Methodist minister, were held Monday morning in the First United Methodist church in Lewisville. He died Friday at his residence.
Rev. Larry H. Kruger and Rev. Chris Allen officiated, and burial was in Old Hall Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. Wright was born in Minden, Louisiana, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wright, and married Addie Hood on August 18, 1938 in Coppell.
He was a member of the North Texas Conference.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Sarah Cannon of Van Alstyne; sisters, Vivian Nuckels and Valerie Nuckels, both of Denton, and Highland Steffenson of Ft. Worth; brothers, Tracy Wright and Billy Wright, both of Ft. Worth, Alot Wright of Lewisville and Alton Wright of Pilot Point; and 2 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Grayson County Hospice, of to the donor's church of favorite charity.
