Albert "Red" Barron of 309 W. Rainey St.,73 year old retired Lone Star
Gas Company employee died Sunday at a Sherman Hospital.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Chapel. A.B. Gripp of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall will officiate and burial will be in Akers Cemetery. Mr. Barron was born in Howe, a son of Virgil and Bessie Smith Barron, and married Obera Richardson on September 3, 1932 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was a farmer in his early years and later worked as a salesman for Lone Star Gas Company until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Surviving are his wife; brothers, Leon Barron of Gainesville and Fred King Jr of Houston; and a sister, Ruby Steward of Sherman. Pallbearers will be Bill Biggerstaff, Carlton McCray, Monroe Brisco, Robert Ball, Eric Little and Frank Scott. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday and other times at the family residence.
