Leon Robinson Bell, 90, of Pottsboro passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Plainview, Texas.
He was born on February 21, 1924, to Henry Wood and Cardela Mae Harris Bell in Lubbock, Texas. Leon graduated from Lubbock High School. He married Eunice Fay Johnson on July 6, 1942, in Lubbock. Leon served in the US Army in Europe during WWII. He was a Railroad Depot Agent for 41 years with Santa Fe Railroad. Mr. Bell was of the Nazarene faith and then later became of the Methodist faith; he was also a past member of Kress Lions Club.
A remembrance service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. A private burial will
be held in Hagerman Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Eunice Fay Johnson Bell of Pottsboro; and daughter, Ruby Fay Bell Teaschner of Dimmitt, Texas; and two grandchildren, Andrew Teaschner of Socorro, N.M., and Terri Beth Teaschner of Canyon Lake, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph Lowell Bell and W.H. Bell; and two sisters, Gladys Judd and Ruby Lemon.

Eunice Fay (Johnson) Bell, 91, of Pottsboro passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Plainview, Texas. She was born on April 27, 1925 in Hagerman, Texas to Sidney A. and Eunice (Jones) Johnson.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hagerman Cemetery.
Eunice Fay attended Denison High School. She married Leon Robinson Bell on July 6, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a school bus driver, stay at home mom, and beautician in Kress, Texas where the couple lived after World War II. After Leon retired from the Santa Fe Railroad, the couple moved to Pottsboro and farmed. She was of the Presbyterian faith then later became of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Fay Bell Teaschner of Dimmitt; two grandchildren, Andrew Teaschner of Tucumcari, NM and Terri Beth Teaschner of New Braunfels, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Bell, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
