Friday, May 17, 1939 HOLD SERVICES IN CORSICANA; BURIAL GRAYSON COUNTY Funeral services for Arthur Burton McClendon, 61, ginner, who died at his home in Trinidad Wednesday night, were held Friday morning and the body was taken overland to Hagerman, Grayson County where services were held at the Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Hagerman Cemetery. The deceased was a native of Batesville, Arkansas, but had spent most of his life in Hagerman. Surviving are his wife of Trinidad; 4 sons, T. C. McClendon of Hagerman, C. K. McClendon of Era, W. E. McClendon of Sadler, and D. C. McClendon of Lavon; 3 daughters, Mrs. Edith Huffman of Sadler, Mrs. Jack Massengale of Sherman, and Miss Dora Marie McClendon of Trinidad; a sister, Mrs. Maud Beane of Pottsboro; 9 grandchildren and other relatives.
