- Funeral for Ethel Mae Brown, 63, who died Friday in her home,
were held Monday morning in the First Baptist Church here with Rev.
L.A. Sublett officiating. Burial was in Hagerman Cemetery.
Born January 30, 1923 at Parnell, Oklahoma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Keenom, she married H.G. Brown October 1, 1938 at Paul's Valley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pottsboro. Survivors include son, V.W. Brown of Denison; daughter, Linda R. Sutherland of Denison; brother, Lavon Keenom of Glendale, Arizona; sister, Alice M. Keenom of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Daniel Brown, Curtis Campbell, Franklin Baumna, Dan Webster, Wayne Watson, and Roger Terry.
