 Giovanni Rangel, age 16 of Gunter, Texas passed away suddenly on August 6, 2014 in Gunter. He was born on March 28, 1998 in Sherman to Jaime and Desire Araceli (Galvan) Rangel. Gio attended Gunter High School. He was a caring and joyful young man who loved his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Jaime and Desire Rangel of Gunter, Texas; brother, Alex Rangel of Gunter; sister, Karissa Rangel of Gunter; grandparents, Porfirio and Maria Rangel of Gunter and Enedina Galvan of Decatur; aunts and uncles, Hermelinda Galvan, Maribel and Armando Fernandez, Jesus and Maria Galvan, Roy and Diann Galvan, and Amber Flores Ciprian; extended family and all his friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Pilot Point. Interment followed at Gunter Cemetery.
