November 11, 2010 TRENTON - Evie Lou Pelley, 71-year-old Trenton resident, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Sherman. Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne, with burial following at Gunter Cemetery. Mrs. Pelley is survived by her husband, Jimmy Pelley; daughters, Renee Roach and Rhonda Coonce, both of Oak Point and Vanessa Pelley of Trenton; sisters, Ann Rife and Juanita Vitela, both of Lubbock, and Sue Slaughter of Canyon; and five grandchildren. Jimmy Edward Pelley, 80-year-old Trenton residen, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Medical Center of McKinney. He was born December 14, 1933 in Kirkland, Texas, son of Ed and Lucy Pelley. He married Evie Foster August 18, 1955 in Oklahoma. He is survived by three daughters: Renee Roach, Rhonda Coonce and Vanessa Pelley; four brothers: Pat Kelley, Mike Pelley, Larry Pelley and Tim Pelley; five sisters, Molly Fox, Dorothy Reed, Sherri Brummette, Maurene Bates, and Norman Pelley; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 8, 2014 with Nick Farley officiating.
