September 6, 2011 GUNTER - Kerry "Kid" Kenton Pelley passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the age of 55 in Sherman, Texas. Kerry was born on December 31, 1955 in Collin County to Edd and Lucy (Jones) Pelley. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lou Pelley. Kid was a truck driver. He is survived by two sons, Sean Pelley & wife, Karen, of Gunter, Texas, and Casey Pelley & wife Jennifer, of Tioga; five grandchildren, Anthony, Angelica, & Stephanie Pelley of Gunter and Caeden & Cambree Pelley of Tioga; five brothers, Jim Pelley of Trenton; Pat Pelley, Larry Pelley, Mike Pelley, and Tim Pelley, all of Gunter; five sisters, Norma Pelley, Dorothy Reed, and Molly Pelley, all of Gunter, Sherry Rickwa of Collinsville, and Maureen Bates of Howe. Services wereheld at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 with Dennis Garner officiating. Interment was at the Gunter Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Baggs, Chis Barrett, Andrew Moritz, Terry Cooper, Mike Rickwa, and Troy Powell.
