  Dollie Bird 1938 - 2014  Dollie Agnes Rosalie Bird, age 75, of Van Alstyne passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Texas Health Presbyterian - WNJ Hospital in Sherman. She was born August 27, 1938 in Dallas to Elmer Roy Bray Sr. and Grace Marie Roberts Bray. She is survived by her two sons, James A. Bird Jr., Jefffrey A. Bird, brothers Robert E. Bray Sr., Elmer R. Bray Jr., sister Neoma Spinks, 3 grandchildren Andi Tanti, Sydne Bird, Luke Bird, and 3 great grandchildren Nathan Tanti, Alex Bird, and Cole Kowley-Bird. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Grace Bray, siblings Opal Gentry, Charles Bray, Alan Bray Sr., and Walter "Buddy" Bray. Funeral services were held Friday, May 10, 2014 2:00PM at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne with Brother JR. Thornhill officiating. Burial followed at Gunter Cemetery in Gunter TX.
