June 10, 2012 GUNTER - Paula Pecina, 87, of Gunter died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Gunter. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Pilot Point, with James Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Gunter Cemetery. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral home in Gunter is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her children, Lucia Fox of Gunter, Leonor Porras of Corpus Christi, Theodore Pecina of Gunter, Rachel Barrett of Anna, Ramon Pecina of Gunter, Lupe Pecina of Gunter, Janie Sudderth of Gunter; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
