Garnet was born in Sherman, Texas the son of Thomas Garnet and Marie Jacqueline Frost "Jack Frost" McGraw. He passed way in Sherman and joined his Heavenly Father and Angelic grandson Thor David Rolbiecki.
On 28 January 1955, he married his first love Alice Lucille ‘Tickie' Milner.
He lived his life as a devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a man of the earth; the family's true ‘Rock of Gibraltar'. He toiled relentlessly at all the daily chores required of a rancher, farmer and family bread-earner. As an admirer eloquently stated, ‘…if there is a ranch in heaven, he quickly made Boss!' It was typical of Garnet to come up with an idea at the eleventh hour, of something he could do for one of his grandchildren, then work tirelessly all night to accomplish the task. He was a quiet man who chose to speak with his actions; his silent deeds of ‘good will' spoke the volumes of his life. He would listen in the background for any hints about how he might make that person's life a little better or easier, or simply put a smile on their face.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Garnet McGraw and Jack Frost McGraw and his grandson Thor David Rolbiecki.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice McGraw and his six children: Pamela McGraw, Patricia Kay Sharkey, M.D. and partner Kevin Ferland, Karen Settle and husband Brad, Mark McGraw and wife Michelle, Lorianna Easley and husband Mark, and Michael Garnet McGraw; his thirteen grandchildren: Jonathan Brown and wife Tricia, Joshua Sharkey and wife Roxanne, Charlie Mathis and wife Megan, Kollin Langford and partner Brandi Burchfield, Kaleb Langford and partner Rachel Sutterfield, Kory Garnet Langford, Thomas Garnet McGraw III, Travis Rolbiecki and wife Elizabeth, Abigail Rolbiecki and partner Emily Adams, Tisha Chew and husband Fred, Allison McGraw, Avery Garnet McGraw and John McGraw; his eight great grandchildren: Kai Garnet Brown, Koral Sharkey, Mya Sharkey, Landry Langford, Kaeden Langford, London Rolbiecki, Izaiah Ellis and Araiah Chew; his sister, Dee Beaver, and his three brothers: Frank McGraw, Patrick McGraw and Tim McGraw, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be recited by Deacon John LeBlanc, at 6:30 p.m. followed by viewing from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 28th at 10 o'clock a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church Rev. Jeremy Myers, Pastor of the Parish, will officiate.
Garnet's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  He will be remembered by many and missed by all.
