GEORGE L. BAKER
Services for George L. Baker of Dallas, 64, retired fabric worker who died Tuesday at a Dallas hospital, were held Thursday at Gunter Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Bobby Layman of Greenville.  Burial was at Gunter Cemetery under the direction of Scott Funeral Home.
Baker was a Gunter native and was a member of the Baptist church.  He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Baker of Belle Vernon, Pa., brother, Lloyd Baker of Dallas; and sister, Mrs. Mary Savage of Dallas.
Pallbearers are C.W. Bowen, Albert Scharff, Don Jarred, Oldrich Horak, Lloyd Baker, Jr. and Lewis Lutrich.
