 Dallas Morning News 20 Mar 1926 page 10 Sherman, Texas, March 19 - Johnnie Ruth McConnell, 6 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. [sic - he was C.L.] McConnell, died at the family home in Fort Worth. The body was forwarded to Gunter, where the funeral service and burial were held Thursday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Lawhon. Mr. McConnell and his family lived at Gunter until three years ago, when the family moved to Fort Worth.
