July 11, 1952 pg. 6 Funeral services were held Friday in the Pottsboro Baptist Church for Robert Jacobs, 61, at Pottsboro, who died at Highport resort on Lake Texoma, Wednesday, from a sudden illness. Rev. Preston Bryant of Pottsboro officiated and interment was in Gordonville Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore, funeral directors, in charge. Jacobs was born in Collinsville, November 25, 1890. He attended school in Collinsville and in Locust. He was employed at Highport resort. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include a son, Paul Jacobs, Sherman; five brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
