Thursday, February 1, 1917 pg. 5 NEWS FROM THE COUNTY Gordonville, January 29 - E.L. (Lige) Driggars, formerly of this community, died last Monday at the home of his brother, G.W. Driggars of Pottsboro, and was buried in Gordonville Cemetery Tuesday. He has been in poor health for some time and an attack of grippe proved fatal to him. "Uncle Lige" was well known over this portion of the county and had many friends who will regret to learn of his passing.
