  Gordonville - Funeral services for Linda Chambers, 63, were held Monday, March 23, 2009 with Rev. Kenny Guthrie officiating. Interment followed in Gordonville Cemetery. Linda passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. She was born January 30, 1946 in Pilot Point, Texas to Francis Michael and Grace (Craft) Bridges, Sr. She married Ronald D. Chambers on January 25, 1962 in Waurika, Oklahoma. Linda worked for Boeing Electronics and Texas Instruments as an electronics instructor. Survivors include her husband; three sons: Ronald Lee and wife, Pam, Chambers of Gordonville; Douglas and wife, Kathy Chambers, of Pilot Point and Grady and wife, Kim Chambers, of Whitesboro; daughter, Sherri and husband, Gary Bennett, of Dorchester; eight grandchildren: Laura Chambers, Matt Chambers, Garry Chambers, Monty Chambers, Justin Chambers, Gretchen Pelzel, Katie Pelzel, and Ethan Chambers; brothers, Mack Bridges of Pilot Point and Jim Bridges of Collinsville; two sister, Betty Heitzman and Pat Hall, both of Pilot Point. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Daniels.
